BWT bestaqua ROC COFFEE is a professional reverse osmosis system developed specifically for coffee, espresso and other hot beverages.
The system first uses a high-performance reverse osmosis membrane to remove more than 97% of dissolved salts, significantly reducing the influence of local water hardness and varying mineral composition.
The RO-treated water then passes through the BWT bestaqua PREMIUM cartridge with BWT Magnesium Technology. Remaining calcium is exchanged for magnesium to create a controlled mineral composition optimised for coffee extraction while reducing the potential for limescale and gypsum deposits in professional coffee equipment.
The final treatment stage also incorporates activated carbon and an ultrafiltration membrane, providing additional refinement of the water before it reaches the coffee machine.
With a nominal output of up to 120 litres per hour, BWT bestaqua ROC COFFEE is suitable for specialty coffee shops, restaurants, hotels and other professional applications where consistent coffee quality and equipment protection are essential.
A separate upstream particle and activated-carbon pre-filtration stage is recommended before the reverse osmosis system and is installed separately.

Reverse Osmosis

Incoming drinking water passes through the BWT bestaqua high-performance membrane. More than 97% of dissolved salts are retained, significantly reducing the influence of the original water composition.

BWT bestaqua ROC COFFEE does not replace the upstream particle and activated-carbon pre-filtration stage.

BWT recommends installing a feed-water pre-treatment system or a particle and activated-carbon filter, such as BWT besttaste, before the reverse osmosis unit. This upstream pre-filtration is installed separately.
