The system uses the BWT bestaqua 14 MEMBRANE to remove more than 97% of dissolved salts from the incoming water, making it particularly suitable for locations with raw water conductivity above 1,000 µS/cm or elevated chloride levels.
After reverse osmosis, the practically salt-free water passes through the BWT bestmin PREMIUM mineralisation cartridge. This dedicated treatment stage restores a balanced mineral composition, helping produce suitable water for coffee preparation while protecting professional coffee machines against deposits such as limescale and gypsum. BWT also highlights improved corrosion protection where the incoming water contains high levels of chloride.
