BWT BESTBARISTA ROC COFFEE is a professional reverse osmosis and remineralisation system developed specifically for coffee preparation.
The system first removes more than 97% of dissolved salts from the incoming water using reverse osmosis. The purified water is then passed through a dedicated BWT bestbarista Coffee cartridge, which restores a controlled mineral composition with an emphasis on magnesium and silicate.
This two-stage approach helps reduce variations caused by local water hardness and mineral content, creating more consistent water conditions for coffee extraction. It also significantly reduces the amount of hardness-forming minerals entering professional coffee equipment.
With a nominal output of up to 120 litres per hour, BESTBARISTA ROC COFFEE is suitable for specialty coffee shops, restaurants, hotels and other professional applications where both coffee quality and equipment protection are important.
A separate particle and activated-carbon pre-filtration stage is recommended before the reverse osmosis system and is installed separately.

BWT BESTBARISTA ROC COFFEE does not replace the upstream sediment and activated-carbon filtration stage.

BWT recommends pre-treatment of the incoming water using a particle and activated-carbon filter, such as BWT besttaste. The pre-filtration system is installed separately before the reverse-osmosis unit.
