WT bestcare 10 is a professional multi-stage hygiene filter cartridge designed for drinking-water dispensers and other point-of-use applications where cold water is consumed directly.
The cartridge combines several treatment stages to improve both the hygienic and sensory quality of the water. An integrated pre-filter reduces particles larger than 5 µm, while BWT’s triple activated-carbon barrier with silver reduces organic compounds, cloudiness, chlorine and substances responsible for unwanted taste and odour.
The final hollow-fibre membrane provides an additional hygienic barrier with a pore size of 0.1 µm. BWT specifies 99.999% bacterial retention, equivalent to log 5, including organisms such as Legionella, together with retention of cysts and protozoa. The system is also designed to retain microplastics.
BWT bestcare 10 is particularly suitable for water dispensers, office drinking-water systems, hospitality applications and other cold-water points of use where maintaining consistent drinking-water quality is important. The cartridge has a nominal flow rate of 200 L/h and a maximum rated use of 6,000 litres or 6 months, whichever is reached first.
Installation is performed using the BWT besthead FLEX connection system. The cartridge must be installed vertically and is designed for operating pressures of 2−8 bar and water temperatures of 4−30°C.
